K-9 Heroes Day, Featuring the Pooch Pursuit

Two events, highlighting the beauty of our canine companions. First, start the morning off by lacing up your running shoes and grab your dog's leash for the Pooch Pursuit 5K / 1 mile. This Pooch friendly event (although canine participation is optional), benefits the Friends of Hanover Dog Parks. Hanover Parks and Recreation, Hanover Hounds K-9 Search & Rescue and Friends of Hanover Dog Parks invite you and your special canine to the annual Hanover K-9 Heroes Day. K-9 Heroes Day is free and open to the public, with all dogs required to remain on a secure leash and have current license and rabies vaccination. Visit canine friendly vendors**, watch military and police K-9 demonstrations and K-9 search & rescue by Hanover Hounds.
