This dog friendly event will be held annually from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on September 17, 2016 at Mariner's Museum Park in Newport News, VA, US.

Admission is General admission - $5 at door, dog walk registration: $10 early bird registration before Aug 22 and benefits The animals of the Peninsula SPCA.

Description
Paws for a Cause is the Peninsula SPCA’s annual fundraiser to benefit homeless animals! This is a family-friendly festival with a dog walk. The festival is located in the Mariners’ Museum Park, Williams Fields, on Boundary Road across from Warwick High School. There will be more than 50 vendors, animal rescues with adoptable pets, and local organizations, as well as food, and a new expanded children’s area this year! Although festival goers do not need to participate in the dog walk to attend, it’s a fun thing to do! Dog walkers must register in advance and we ask that they fundraise prior to the event. This will ensure that the Peninsula SPCA will be able to continue to help animals in need.
