Celebrate the 318th Anniversary of the Oldest Dog Mart in America!
Kid and Dog Friendly: The Fredericksburg Dog Mart will be hosted by the Fredericksburg-Rappahannock Izaak Walton League Chapter at Walton Park in Spotsylvania County. Admission is just $5 per car load. We still have room for vendors and canine demonstrations. For more information, please call Greg Raines at (540) 287-2628.
Activities Include: Barrel Train Rides (free), Good Food, Canine Demonstrations & Dog Adoptions, Family Dog Contests, Dog Show, Native American Camp and Re-Enactment of original Dog Mart Trades between Local Indians and Settlers, Games and Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Moon Bounce, Kids Fingerprinting, Kids Fishing Derby, Kids Archery and Airgun at Shooting Range, Pony Rides, Wandering Historical Figures, Virginia Fur Trappers and Traders.
