Description
First Sunday in October Chattapoochee PetFest - Attractions include Pet vendors, pet rescue groups, pet costume parade, crafts food, music, appearance by mayor of the dog park, and much, much more. Please join us!
Proceeds benefit the Historic Strickland House of Duluth – Home of the original Gwinnett Humane Society.
The Strickland House, maintained by the Duluth Historical Society, built in 1898, is also the home of the first women mayor of Duluth, Alice Strickland. The museum displays artifacts, exhibits and pictures, which tell the history of Duluth. The museum is open Fridays and Saturdays, 12 to 3 pm.
