We stayed for a couple nights on a long road trip. This was by far our favorite. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable! Our dog was welcomed in with treats and all!

They gave me a first floor room with a door that goes out to a little patio and the parking lot, which made it easy to take my dog out to pee. Really great place to stay!

No treat at check-in and I had to sign a waiver that said I would not leave my dog unattended in my room (I wasn't planning on it anyway). The room was dark. On the bright side, the bed was extremely comfortable and there were lots of dogs for mine to watch curiously.

Although the outdoor pet area was virtually inaccessible due to construction we very much enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and staff were friendly. Compared to other hotels in casinos in the area it was easy to get to the check in area without having to take our pet through the casino to go in and out. A tad expensive but you get what you pay for. The restaurant on site was excellent for both breakfast and dinner and service was great. Would stay again!

The room is spacious and there is a grassy area in the back of the hotel. The staff are very friendly, just be prepared that you might get a room on the 4th floor. There is a restaurant in the hotel and they are affordable and very convenient.

The pet area is terrible. Off to the back of the hotel on a cliff and all the lights back there are out. Not fun in the early morning and after 7:00 at night. The hotel is wonderful, people great we had a wonderful experience. Hopefully they improve the pet area.

We were passing through South Dakota and stayed for two nights to do some sightseeing. The room was large and clean. There was a small outdoor pet area around the side of the building. The hotel lacks dog friendly restaurants and the town only had a few which weren’t very good.

Absolutely love this hotel. So easy and convenient for pet owners. Lovely place to walk your pet, with views that are absolutely beautiful. Would love to give it 10 bones. And did I mention it’s spotless.

Our pups had a great time at the Lodge at Deadwood. They were given treats at check-in, and the pet relief area was easily accessible from our room. We recommend booking a room on the ground floor with a walkout to the courtyard/exterior. This enables you to let the dogs out without walking through the lobby.

This hotel was great. The restaurants served great food, the hallways and rooms seemed fairly new and it was very quiet. They gave us welcome bags for our dogs (with treats and waste bags) and we were able to go in a secure side door to take the dogs in and out without going through the lobby. There was also an ample sized pet area. Highly recommend.

This is absolutely the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at with our dogs! We travel with 5 dogs so we encounter plenty of challenges and issues with hotels on a regular basis and this place made life soooooo easy! The first floor rooms have direct access to the outside allowing for easy potty trips. They had no issues with us having 5 massive dogs. And they have a restaurant in the building open 24/7. Highly recommend staying here. Additionally a very clean and classy hotel on the hilltop with a gorgeous view.

Our favorite stay so far on a big road trip, this hotel was wonderful and the rooms beautiful and SO comfy. Jimbo greeted us warmly and put us in room 103 which had a back door walking right out to the pet area and it was so convenient! The dogs LOVED it, sleep quality awesome. If you are in Deadwood with your furries I would highly recommend this hotel/lodge.
