Cape Lookout State Park Campground

Dogs are allowed at Cape Lookout State Park Campground. Pets must be confined by the owner, or on a leash not more than six (6) feet long, and kept under physical control at all times. Owners are responsible for removal of all waste and for keeping your pet quiet during campground quiet hours (10 p.m. To 7 a.m.). Pets are not allowed in yurts, cabins or tepees, or on the Canyon Trail at Silver Falls. Other restrictions may apply. Please see website for more details.

Description

A popular campground and day-use area, Cape Lookout State Park Campground is located on a sand spit between Netarts Bay and the ocean, giving you a terrific view of the ocean with easy access to the beach. Beachcombing is popular here, and the park is reputedly a good place to find glass floats. More than eight miles of hiking and walking trails wind through a lush old-growth forest.

    Good Campground

    Good campground for pets. Lots of shade trees, trails, and good beach access. Pet waste bags provided for the beach and lots of campers leash-waliking their pups all over.
