  In the area where the “dog guests” were the back door was broken and anyone could walk into the area.

  Perfect spot for walks

  Friendly front desk, pet relief area, near a park. I'd say there are parts of the hotel that shows its age, the carpet in the hallways is very old. The room met our needs but the shower stall was rusty and hairs were left behind from previous guests.

  Room very nice, Bed so comfortable! Even my cat Al-lee loved it. He had a windowsill to sit on and look outside.

  Tiny room

  Breakfast was good. Tiny rooms but nicely appointed. Refrigerator also tiny. We had to use our ice chest instead.

  Small rooms

  Hotel was nice but the rooms were small. With two queen beds there was barely enough room to walk around. Zero room for a dog to play. Beds were quite high and my mini schnauzer could not jump up. Lots of grass and a park down the hill.

  Needs work

  A newish hotel that needs maintenance. Majority of parking is in the rear of the building, but the key card didn’t work. No specific place to walk your dog. Parking lot is dark at night. Empty shampoo in shower. Light bulb out in restroom. Landscaping unkempt.

  Cramped but comfortable

  Rooms are very small with lots of furniture. Not much room for people, luggage, or dogs, but made a great parkour course for my cat! Bed was comfy and things were clean, so it made a good one night stop. Grass space outside is very limited, and dogs aren’t allowed at all at the park right by the hotel :(

  The place is a mess - dirty carpets all throughout, no soap/shampoo in the shower, bathroom needs a lot of repairs. Breakfast consisted of cold sausage and powdered eggs I wouldn’t serve my dog.

  After our first room had not been well cleaned, we were upgraded to a very clean, nice suite, and the pet fee waived, with lots of apologies. We understand that sometimes things happen. The staff bent over backwards to make it right. We would definitely stay there again.

  Just what we needed

  Lots of area to walk the dog and Skyline dog park close by to give her a run before we continued on our travels. Will definitely book again for our return trip.

  Brutal night

  We stayed here because the ratings were so high! I don’t know how they got 4 or 5 bones from anyone. We were in the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in. That was the highlight. We could hear our neighbors exhale. The people above us dared to shower and use the toilet and it sounded like a flood in our bathroom. The bed was surprisingly comfortable considering it had a large slope in the middle.

  Our first road trip travelling with our Bernese Mountain Dog. We were so impressed with the La Quinta hotel! Front desk staff was knowledgeable with recommendations on where to order in dinner, etc. Room was very clean and bed and pillows very comfortable. The free breakfast was perfect. You can sit and enjoy a lite breakfast but we chose to grab and go. 5 bones for sure! Also, this hotel has a park across the parking lot for the pup!!

  Clean and good location

  It was a great spot to stop on our way through. Room was clean, quiet and good area for our little dog. The breakfast was good with lots to offer. Easy access back onto the highway. We would stay here again. They did up the rate for pet fees to $25, which is a little extreme for one small dog.

  People at the front desk seemed grumpy that we had our dog with us. We ended up on the first floor in the smallest room with a weird smell, only to find dog hair in the bed from a previous dog. Was overall very disappointed

  Excellent facility in a so-so part of town

  Had a great stay - the rooms were fantastic. In a weird location - it’s sort of torturous for dogs because it’s right next to a big park with fields that doesn’t allow dogs! Thus, you must walk the dog in a sort of sketchy part of town and in the parking lot and just stare at the lovely park. But the rooms were great.

  Nice facility

  The facility was clean, neat and tidy which is the most important. If you go beyond row of hedges there is a nice open field to walk our Golden Retriever. Nice breakfast and friendly staff.

  Mixed bag

  So far on our trip this has been the best place for dogs. There is a large parking lot off the first floor with lots of grass that is outside an exterior door, so no having to go through the lobby. We did not notice poop bags, though. This grassy area was the largest on our trip. They even allowed you to leave the dog in your room as long as they had your cell phone number to alert you if they were barking.

  On the human side, I had read that the rooms were small but thought, how small can they be? Very! We had a room with two queens, and there was no room to put anything bigger than a backpack, so one bed stored all our luggage. Also, I got little sleep since the bed was pretty hard for my taste. The bathroom was nice sized, though, and the staff was incredibly friendly. So, it’s one of those instances where you have to choose what is most important to you.

  Dog friendly, lots of grass around and a huge field right across the street. The front desk are so nice and helpful. The rooms are a little smaller than other La Quinta locations.

  Front Desk Attendant was awesome!

  Good for a one night stop. The room was a little cramped, but not a problem since our time there was short. I sure wish dog owners would clean up after their dogs though.

  Great hotel for dog

  Hotel was a great location. Ease of access to take our poodle in and out for bathroom breaks. Hotel room was extremely clean, no smell of any previous animals. The room was very nice and and staff was very friendly. Recommend anyone looking for a hotel with or without pets to come stay as this hotel is very clean, friendly and close to downtown.

  Clean with friendly staff

  We are on a cross country trip with a dog and cat. The room was clean and spacious and the pet rooms were on the first floor for easy access to outside. Only suggestion is better signage: we arrived at night and the access door was difficult to locate. Otherwise, great stay. Thanks!

  Stayed here going both ways on a cross country trip. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but very small. We have a smaller dog so not a big deal for us. Shower head was clogged in both rooms. WiFi was an issue both times we stayed. Front desk tried to help but it still didn’t work. Due to COVID breakfast was brown bagged but good with lots of options. Lots of parking for trailers in the back. Dog didn’t do a lot of sniffing around which is a good sign. Overall good experience.

  Great stay!

  Friendly staff, very accommodating with our pets traveling cross country for a military move. Put us in a suite on ground floor right next to the back door so that we could easily take the pups out to potty. Definitely recommend.

  I recommend. Exceeded my Expectations.

  I've become a fan of dog-friendly La Quinta for my travels when I must stay in a hotel. Check-In Representative was courteous and very attentive. Based on this experience I have reserved the rest of my trip, where the temp is too hot for my dog for camping, at La Quinta. I thought all these hotels were the same but this changed my mind. I forget the Check-In Representative's name but I hope Wyndham MGMT finds this review, gets her name and rewards her for making this super weary traveller feel like he found a home for the night. Well done.

  Had a greedy stay. staff extremely helpful. AC not working and they immediately changed the room with no hassle. Rooms were modern and clean. very pet friendly.

  Excellent service

  We spent one night here on our way home to Canada from Palm Springs. Our check-in was great, we were given a room near an exit to make it easy to walk out with our 2 dogs. There is a large field where we could take them for a quick walk. People were social distancing because of the Corona Virus & so we didn't use any part of the hotel other than our suite. It was roomy enough that we didn't feel crowded & had a large window looking out to the parking lot so we could keep an eye on our car. We would stay there again.

  Pet fee and remodel needed

  We checked in 10/10/19 and were given room 105. This room was very cramped and with overnight temperatures of 7° we had heater on. Heater was nonfunctional because it made squealing noise when on. At check out 10/11 my husband notified front desk, they offered to refund the PET FEE which I wasn't aware of at check in. They did have a sign saying Pet fee of $20 starting 12/8/19. Checking my bank I found they charged up $20 twice for Pet fee, even though they were crediting the fee. Room 105 also needs remodel, however the Lobby was very nice.

  Awesome hotel

  Great time here! Super welcoming and pet friendly. Do have to pay $20 pet fee which is new since June or July. But room was great so was breakfast. Lots of green space near by. Highly recommend!
