  Fantastic stay

  Very dog friendly! We were given doggie welcome bags complete with milk bone treats and poop bags when we checked in! Notre Dame’s campus is dog friendly so we could walk our leashed dogs all around. Our room was lovely! We had a fantastic stay!

  Can't beat location

  We received a third floor room which was okay, though many hotels standardize on keeping dog friendly rooms on first level. Also no real dedicated dog areas, you simply go out into the campus which has plenty of green spaces. The hotel itself was great though mileage as far as noise level will vary as there was a wedding in nearby cathedral and room next door had kids who were inadvertently banging. Staff very friendly and hospitable though because of the potential for noise we probably opt for a different place especially at this price point.

  Great hotel for pups

  The Morris Inn is a lovely property with fantastic service. Pups are given their own treat bag upon check-in and the staff is kind and friendly. We were able to sit outside for dinner which was delightful. The location in the center of Notre Dame was perfect for walking around to tire us all out.

  Friendly staff

  clean and beautiful hotel on notre dame campus. walking distance to shops and restaurants. staff was so nice to our dog and were waiting at the door for him with treats every time we arrived back at the hotel.

  Great location!

  Not only is the hotel beautiful and the room was great, but the staff is one of the best we've seen. Everyone was so friendly to our dogs and to us. The food and drinks are terrific. Very easy to walk your dogs around campus too. Worth the price. Definitely happy we stayed at Morris Inn!

  Beautiful Hotel and Staff

  This was a very nice stay right on the campus of Notre Dame University. The staff were all extremely friendly and the room was very spacious with a great bathroom. My dog and I loved being able to walk to campus.

  Loved our stay!

  Everyone made us feel at home. Our German Shepherd was treated with love and we all had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

  The Morris Inn is perfect!

  The Morris Inn is a beautiful hotel right on the University of Notre Dame campus. The hotel itself is perfect in every possible way. And the grounds are so beautiful! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Best of all, this hotel is truly dog-friendly: ground floor rooms, treat bags, potty pads and “poopy bags” provided at check in! I cannot emphasize enough how great this hotel is. It checks all the boxes for a pet-friendly hotel. And it’s great for the humans as well. I can’t recommend it enough. I will absolutely stay there again if I’m ever make my way back to South Bend. Four paws up 🐾🐾❤️🐶❤️

  An oasis

  After staying at a very questionable unpleasant place the night before coming to the Morris was such a gift. The staff is so friendly, the space do clean & comfortable and the trees and surroundings very soothing for road weary humans & doggos. Also the room service was incredible! I wish there were more places like this. Big paws up!

  Exceptional in every way!

  From the moment I pulled in front of the hotel and an employee held my dog while we unloaded my car after 9 hours on the road, nice bag of treats handed out during check in. Accommodated is for dining outside even thought the weather was not ideal. Very clean, very quiet, beautiful campus to walk your furry friend around. Absolutely perfect.

  This location, the staff, and the service were excellent. We were greeted warmly, and made to feel exceptionally welcome. When we can, we'll return here.

  Great stay for both of us!

  We had a great experience at the Morris Inn. My pup was greeted warmly with a treat bag, the room was very comfortable and spotless, the adjacent restaurant was perfect for me, and there was a lot of space to walk on nice, clean grass!

  Great location but loud neighbors

  I love the Morris Inn. Best place to bring a dog after a long drive to walk him throughout campus. This time, however, we had a screaming baby on one side of us and 2 dogs in 2 different rooms barking all night long. Very disappointed, didn't get any sleep. Hopefully a one-off situation but will try once more and if the same will have to cross them off our list of favorite stays.

  Awesome!

  Morris Inn is perfectly located on Notre Dame‘s campus. I’m on a cross country road trip with my two dogs; and decided to stop at Notre Dame to visit my niece and nephew before taking off again. The hotel is very clean and very accommodating to my pups. They had a dog dish and dog biscuits in the lobby. I would highly recommend and will definitely stay there the next time I am driving through or visiting in South Bend or Notre Dame!

  Wonderful staff and location

  Walter and I really enjoyed our stay at the Morris Inn. It was right on campus so there were lots of places to walk around. The staff was great - Roger was very friendly. They welcomed me and my Walter and it felt very genuine.

  Great rooms and friendly staff.

  Staff was accommodating and gave us a room that was not near most foot traffic. The campus is a great place to walk your pup.

  Beautiful dog-friendly hotel

  The inn is in the heart of Notre Dame’s beautiful campus. The inn was impeccably clean and the staff was welcoming. They even greeted us with a bag of goodies for our pup! Assuming you can get a room (not a gameday weekend), I highly recommend staying here.
