This was a perfect place to stay on our way to Phoenix after driving 660 miles! The owner was very friendly helping us with suggestions of places to eat and giving us a treat bag for breakfast containing a bear claw and a muffin. The room was very nicely maintained and had a comfortable bed with hot shower. A must stay for anyone traveling with our without their furry friend (Pippin loved it!).

Movie being shot on the street in front of Motel. We waited over an hour to get into hotel. Bathroom smelled like urine.

Friendly, helpful staff. He provided us recommendations on where we might like to eat supper. The room, though older, was clean and very comfortable. We were given delicious pastries and fruit to have the next morning for our breakfast.

Great overnight stop in the desert. Very green patch for dogs, including baggy and garbage station. They did request dogs stay off the beds to our pups’ dismay but they’re a family run operation and I respect that!

An old motel on Route 66 that’s been well maintained plus a few nice bonuses, like a (very welcome) grassy area big enough for my dog & me to play & get a little exercise. Clean room. My dog found the rubber ducky provided before I could even get all the bags in the room, so that’s a nice touch.

We just checked in and we are in love with the place already. The area around it seems like it has seen better days but the motel has a great vibe. The rooms are clean, good sized and they have everything you need. the pillows are comfortable. They even left a rubber duckie on the tub for us. The place is very retro in its appearance but that just adds to the flavor of staying at an older route 66 motel (this one has been in business since 1959). Despite being older, you can tell the owners sitll have a passion for running their Motel and take great pride in giving their guests a wonderful stay.

Second generation hotel that has been beautifully maintained. The attention to detail is evident: lovely retro room with comfort updates (flat screen, many channels, internet, microwave, fridge, heat and cooling that work), chocolate kisses on my pillow, and a planned pet area that is even lighted at night. All rooms are ground level. Add to all this pleasant people and it was a great deal.

Very nice retro motel. I felt like I had stepped back in time to the motels of my childhood, but in a good way. It was VERY clean, nothing was shabby even though it all looked like it was from another era. Very friendly helpful owner. We were very comfortable here and would not hesitate to return.
