Room was piping hot when we arrived at night time, no a/c or even window cracked. Broken shower head and toilet, not enough outlets for all appliances. Some broken. No breakfast as advertised. Was semi clean but just so run down.

If giving no bones was an option that’s what I would have given. The lady at the front desk said she had no reservation. We got an extremely eerie feeling from her, so we found some place else to stay. Don’t let the pictures fool you, the place is run down. I was itchy just standing in the “lobby.”

Entering Santa Rosa is like traveling 60 years back in time. You will experience the real Rt 66 at the retro cool motel Route 66. Motel Route 66 is very dog friendly, the owners are super nice, and they are located only 1.5 block from the Blue Hole - a most-see natural wonder in New Mexico.
