Nice people running this place and trying hard to turn an older hotel into a more modern option. Only part way through the process though. Rooms are small but functional and lighting/cosmetic improvements noticed. The grounds need work but this will come. Adjust your expectations on this property but be prepared to have an open mind. It is not perfect but it is coming back - the people running it care about their customers.

The service at the front desk was great, but the room was so dirty and the place is near the highway. The noise was really loud so we couldn't sleep!

Rooms are newly remodeled and comfortable. Plenty of green space near hotel for dogs to visit when they need to. Staff is very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

From start to finish this hotel was amazing. When we checked in we got a doggy gift - a special towel, pawprint keychain and doggy treats. The room was so clean and really loved that there was no carpet. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of space to walk your dog as well. The staff also loved our pup. And right off 81 for easy access to both north and south! Will most definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Motel 6 in Carlisle was just what we were looking for! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful! Plenty of space to walk the pets too! The price was very reasonable.

For a place listed as dog friendly, upon check in, they make you sign an affidavit saying that you agree that under no circumstances will you allow any pet to get up on any piece of furniture. Absurd. Do NOT recommend.

The rooms were “remodeled” according to the previous reviews. I don’t know the prior look but the room was okay. The bathroom was pretty gross. The shower was clogged and a bit dirty looking. It was manageable for a low cost pet friendly stay, but I’ll be looking for a little more next travel through Carlisle.

The people running this hotel went the extra mile. Beautiful pots of flowers in front of every room, special towel and treats for the dog. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Although the building and rooms are a bit rundown, everything was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. We would definitely stay again.

Seems to be recently remodeled. Clean. Friendly and efficient front desk check in. Dog friendly. Had doggie towels and treats. Very quiet. Lots of green space to walk and potty. Personalized note in the room along with bottled water and popcorn. They really made us feel welcome.

I have never stayed at Motel 6 before. Reviews on BringFido were very positive. They had remodeled and said very dog friendly. They were correct! We had a nice stay in an updated room with usual amenities and my dogs were welcome! No pet fee. Friendly check-in staff. I would stay at this Motel 6 again!
