These cabins were awesome. Highly recommended! Very clean, comfortable. Bath towels were to to tie.
Our two fur kids enjoyed having some nice green space to walk. We had cell service. Kinda nice sitting outside at night and the coyotes nearby. Very peaceful. Will most definitely be returning. - TerryOct 7, 2023Great pet place!
A lot of pet friendly places have so many rules and make so many threats of fines that you feel you’re walking on egg shells with your pets! Gold Camp Cabins simply say enjoy your stay!

This place is nice and cozy! It’s quiet and peaceful. Definitely felt right at home and our little old Pekingese enjoyed her stayed!

Super clean with attention to detail: pine slats with log beams add to the charm and the air conditioning adds to the comfort along with queen beds with crisp linens. Touch lamps with USB outlets, tissues, soap & shampoo, plenty of towels (folded so creatively), and coffee were very appreciated. Outdoor space complete with fire pits, chairs, benches, bbq grills, and lots of room for our dog to play complete with a fishing pond made a great space to relax. I checked out a lot of places and I’m so glad I chose this one…very reasonably priced with a reasonable pet fee too. Minutes away from the charming shopping & restaurants of Custer and a 20 min. drive to Mt. Rushmore.

The cabin was such a cute find right outside of downtown Custer. Very close to Custer State Park and Windcave National Park. Reasonable distance to Mt Rushmore. The cabin itself was clean and cozy and the amazing outdoor space in the backyard made it very easy to bring our dog along! We were able to walk our dog each morning around the lake and it was easy to take her outside for a potty break. Our dog seemed to feel very comfortable and safe there as well.

The cabin was great and in a central location. Lots of wildlife and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting around the fire each night. Highly recommend.

Great place to relax with your pets next to the pond and enjoy your own fire ring near your cabin and the pond. Complete serenity.

We stayed in #3 with our 2 small dogs. It was very convenient to be able to be out of town yet have a place to leave the dogs. The outdoor fire pit was a perfect way to unwind. Our younger dog loved walking around the pond and even met some cows from the other side of the fence. This cabin is small but has a little kitchenette, fridge, microwave, dining table, TV, and a couple of beds in 1 room. The shower/bathroom is walled off in the corner but is a decent size. It’s a perfect place to stay with Fido(s) with no worries.

This little log cabin was perfect! It was very quiet and my dogs were relaxed the whole time we were there. I really hope I can go back there sometime soon!
