The Hotel Barchetta Excelsior is located right in the city center on Comos main square facing the lake. It is situated on the town main square overlooking the lake. Renowned for its fine restaurant since 1893 the hotel was totally rebuilt at the end of the 1960s. National and iternational cuisine is served in the restaurant which overlooks the lake. Meeting rooms can accommodate up to 60 people. Non smoking-rooms and ladies room are available. Its 84 rooms includes 80 doubles three junior suites and one suite most of which with lake view. Recently renovated guest accommodations are furnished with satellite TV minibars personal safes and direct-dial telephones. Some feature whirlpool baths and private fax.
