  Nice size room, check-in was very friendly, fairly quiet a/c. Carpeted room was old, had stains on it and room smelled of urine. Minimal luggage carts available.

  Very nice place

  Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Good pet policy. Was able to leave our 40 lb designer mutt kenneled in our room while we went to dinner. Nice field next to hotel for Fido, but not fenced. Breakfast is basic hotel fare.

  Third floor room but easy access via elevator to exit and grass. Felt safe walking dogs near the the hotel.

  Dirty Room

  There shouldn’t be carpeting in the room when we have a dog. Also, the bathroom room handle had feces on it. One good thing was the bed was comfortable.

  We had a wonderful stay! I highly recommend La Quinta if you are traveling with a dog. Hotel was very clean, quiet, and even had a pool!

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very clean, well kept, and staffed by friendly faces. The location is good as it is easily accessible and close to restaurants, but the building itself is set back from the highway and has some green space for dogs to stretch their legs. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Fort Smith, and we will definitely stay here again!

  There were old tissues under the bathroom vanity and behind the chair. They had done a repair to the bathroom ceiling but hadn’t painted over it.

  A bit off the highway but easy to locate. Clean room, side access to unload/load up car. Dog friendly!

  Shower Didn’t Work!

  The fact that the hot/cold water regulator was broken and you couldn’t shower could happen anywhere. But when we checked out and I explained the problem and asked for some consideration because we couldn’t shower I got a dumb look from the desk clerk who said he would report it to maintenance. Not a happy experience.

  10 Days on the Road, 1 of the BEST!

  The pictures shown are no longer applicable. The hotel has done a renovation and the rooms are great. Very friendly welcome and great customer service at check in/out. Clean rooms (not carpet) we had a comfortable bed and fluffy towels. There is a laundry room on site if you need it. There are many restaurants close by and a pet store basically right next-door. Breakfast was the normal hotel fare, it was good and the area was clean. We would stay here again. (** and just one more plea, to please clean up after your dogs!)

  Fort Smith La Quinta inn had a really nice lobby and very attentive helpful check-in. The rooms were under renovation as were the hallways so I am not sure how to read the hotel. Adequate, location very good, nice staff, clean towels, and sheets.

  Fine for quick overnight

  We did not realize that there was construction going on while we were there. There was a lot of noise from people outside and the hallways were looking a little rough. Staff was nice. There was a nice green area next to the hotel for our two dogs.

  They’re remodeling and the updates are very nice. Incredibly clean, lovely lobby, comfy beds, tasty hot breakfast, empty lot with a dog cleanup station for your pup, well-lit parking, right next to a pet store and a Chick fil A! What more can you ask for??

  Canceled reservation but got a room anyway

  They canceled my reservation saying they didn't have a cc on file, but were able to give me a room anyway. I never got the email saying room was canceled. It appears they are remodeling the rooms - one side of the hotel was closed off.

  Good location but under construction

  We booked a king size room and requested a ground floor. But when we got there we were put on the 3rd floor and had 2 queen beds. The hotel is being remodeled.

  What a wonderful super clean and neat place! We were extremely comfortable here and they had a full hot breakfast too! Great location in the same shopping center as many restaurants.

  The hotel was nice and good service. The one thing that needs improvement is the operation of the shower. A sticker was in the shower that told you how to get the water to the shower head. It was small print and you had to climb in the shower to read it. Also, it’s time for a new shower mat. But we did enjoy our stay. 😎🐾🐾

  We were treated so awesome in Ft Smith, Ark. We also got upgraded to a Suite by the manager at no xtra cost. So very nice, so clean. Great location!!!

  Pleasant Stay

  The gentleman at the front desk was kind and worked with me to get a room on the first floor near the side exit rather than second floor near the elevator as was original location they were going to put us. They are renovating some of the surrounding rooms so we had fewer people to disturb if someone went woof in the night. Lots of space to walk dogs. There is a dog station as well. I took one bone off as it appears it has been a while since they have emptied the dog station...it was overflowing. Yuck. However, everything else was pleasant. I brought two fans to create white noise for the dogs and set them up near the door to block sounds from hallway. Seemed to work pretty well. This was the second and third nights my schnauzer and mini chiweenie have spent in a hotel. They did well by the 3rd night. If I were ever to need a hotel in Ft Smith again, I would return here.

  So since Wyndham has purchased La Quinta, there is now pet fees at the hotels. Some more than others, this was $10, the Amarillo TX airport location was $23, the Albuquerque Iliff Rd location didn't have one. So, you should ask before booking to avoid issues. The room was adequate, one king bed with lots of pillows and comfy. T
  They are doing renovations in the front area. The front clerk, Nathanial, was great.

  Really very little space to walk the dog. And although breakfast was "until 9" They ran out of eggs about 8:30 and when I complained at 8:45 I was told "we quit making eggs at 8:30."

  Big rooms, nice people. Very clean and fairly quiet. Buffet was generous and salty. You've been warned. Otherwise, a really, really nice place.

  This hotel was very clean and had plenty of grass in close proximity for walking my dog. It is also next door to a strip mall that has a dog supply store ( food and treats)

  Pretty Nice

  Nice and clean. Looks as if they just recently went through a renovation. Room was pretty sizable and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again if every passing through. We stayed one night with our corgi and cat.
