This is not a fancy motel. It’s an older motel. It has great accommodations for dogs. It looks like it has been renovated. Rooms were very clean. Plenty of lawn area right outside my room door. This has become a go-to hotel when I’m looking for a place to stay along I-5 and I’m in this area.

Sheet had a pink stain on it… blood? Didn’t stick around to find out. Asked for a refund and found a place across the street.

This was a nice, inexpensive place to stay at on the way home to San Diego. They even refunded the $30 dog deposit after we got home! A big grassy area in the middle of the hotel was nice for our dog to run around. Right next door is an Indian restaurant that had the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Nice people running the place, too.

Make sure you get a room on the courtyard where there is a big patch of grass for dogs! There is an amazing Indian restaurant on one side of the hotel, and a Starbucks on the other.

Well, the first of BringFido places we went, didn't allow the dogs on the grass. This one did. Our dogs were so happy to romp and wrestle after the car ride. Way to go Buttonwillow National 9!

I only travel at the low end. Having a microwave and/or fridge really helps. There is a central lawn between the buildings for dogs and it is kept very free of poop. My dog liked to play ball there. Convenient to highway. No Continental breakfast being served, but there is coffee service as well as a coffee maker, with coffee, in the room. Marked down as a bit shabby, but does have electrical outlets behind bedside tables.
