It is possible to sleep separately. The fee is as a surcharge then 37 € in the NS and 47 € in the HS (equivalent to 1 extra bed / person).

The building in the middle of the wonderful old town of Mühlhausen has a long history to tell: Already from the 16. Century known as the inn "The Black Bear", imperial officers, even a royal couple King Frederick William III. and Queen Louise of Prussia (1803) on the first floor of the inn. With great care and attention to detail, the house was once again breathed into the house by the Burkhardt family, making it a sought-after accommodation again today. At the same time, landlords are eager to offer their guests the greatest possible comfort every day. The landlords value the preservation of traditions as well as innovation and modernity.
Inside, the cozy and trendy holiday home impresses with a historic staircase with a curved wooden railing, old wooden floorboards, stucco and paintings. "Madrid" means stylistic wooden furniture, the Spanish bull as an accessory on the chest of drawers and a fireplace in front of which you can enjoy a good wine over a crackling fire. The fourth apartment is "Cape Town" in African style with a rustic wood table as sink and elephant as a dessert. - What all apartments have in common? - Exclusive furniture, lovely details, fabrics and covers in bright, warm earth tones as well as state-of-the-art bathrooms and kitchenettes. The entire front building is barrier-free, a passenger elevator and walk-in showers allow for holiday comfort even in the case of physical disabilities. For Handicapped Stroke patients, wheelchair users and the disabled, the Apartments London, Paris and Madrid are popular holiday apartments. The landlord offers tools (height-adjustable sanitary shower chair with removable armrests and mobile handles for self-attachment) even free to use. The landlord supports you in the rental of aids for swimming pool use (transfer lifter).
The apartment Cape Town is located in the back, facing the garden part of the house and is easily accessible via a few steps.
If you want to sit back after a city walk, enjoy peace and relax, you should definitely visit one of the beautiful places in the garden. The holiday idyll with a brand new heated indoor pool shows itself from another sunny side: colorful flowers and ancient trees thrive here, telling stories from bygone times. The garden fence itself consists of a section of the historic city wall Mühlhausen. There are comfortable sun loungers for sunbathing and reading, a covered and an open terrace and a gazebo with kitchen, if it should raise a small rain showers.
Holidaymakers with pets will find here a suitable holiday paradise. In the apartments up to 4 dogs are allowed at the same time (apartment Madrid). When Jana Burkhardt speaks of her little LouLou - a 3kg light rabbit hair patch - as her darling, the eyes light up. Animal love that touches, and already appreciated many dog owners. On the lower floor of the historic house is the WUNDERBAR! - Café and cocktail bar. This is joined by a typical mansion, in which tobacco can be enjoyed as in the old days: Once there was the cigar factory of Franz Riebel here. His initials are still in the ancient secretary read. Since the WUNDERBAR! is also run by Jana Burkhardt, it is a matter of course that dogs are also welcome here.
