  Very pleased with our room

  The room was clean with new paint and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was simple, but with a new shower and toilet. There was a microwave and a small refrigerator with freezer that worked and was clean. The dog area was small, but big enough to take care of business. There was a trash can provided on the hotel walkway near the dog area. There is also a grassy strip between the breakfast area and the street, and another in front of the hotel.

  The hotel was comfortable and we felt safe there. Yes, there is train noise, but with the fan on and earplugs, we did fine. The whole parking area is well lit at night, and there are security cameras around the property. The staff was helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was good. It was a great place to break up our trip. I would highly recommend this hotel.

  Needs an Upgrade, but lovely staff

  2 bones because the staff was wonderful and very welcoming to us and our pooch. They even upgraded us to a nice corner suite. The property is a little bit rundown, in a really industrial area. There is a loud train at night, but the front desk has a huge bowl of packets of ear plugs, which is very cool. Not much space to walk a dog at all. To was clean, but we did see a lone cockroach. Dated furniture and appliances. Very dim lights. Loud guests with loud trucks at night. Super quiet and peaceful in the morning. Overall, it was ok for a quick stay on a road trip, but the place needs a bit of an upgrade to match the price.

  Bugs in the room

  I felt a bite on my leg within minutes of walking in the room. When I woke up the next morning, my entire body was covered in bites. Dog started scratching the next day. I know for a fact he didn't have fleas before spending the night there. Traveler - you've been warned!

  Room was comfortable

  There is a rail switching line across the street. The noise can be terrible until about 10::30 pm. After that it was fine for the rest of the evening. I slept fine after that. There is a small green enclosure for the dog.

  Clean motel, but not particularly dog friendly

  Nice motel. I only wish they had a better area for taking the dog to do his business. It was a very tiny little dirt gated area. Good I had my own poop bag since none were provided. There was not even a trash receptacle so had to bring the bag back to throw away in the room.

  Comfortable, pet-friendly hotel

  I stayed one night in this room with my dog, I arrived very late due to weather conditions and the woman at the hotel desk was very considerate and friendly, despite the late hour. She even offered me an extra hour before checkout. The staff were also friendly towards my dog. It is an older hotel but the room was very clean and the bed exceptionally comfortable. There was a microwave and a refrigerator, both of which I used. There is a small, enclosed grassy pet area but it was flooded due to bad weather during my stay. The staff were working on pumping out the water but it just had not been completed yet. However, there is an empty lot behind the building that my dog was able to use to do her business. I travel via this route about 3x/yr and I plan to make this my new stopping over point on future trips.

  Nice hotel. Easy on/off to I 5

  The staff was helpful and friendly. Had to walk outside the hotel grounds to find a place for the dogs to go. Would be nice to have a designated area is its bags. Better breakfast than most.
