Rabbit Ears was a quiet, well run hotel. I didn't feel as if anyone begrudged the dog. We would have slept well, but the bed mattresses are old and need replacing.

The owners have put a lot of money into modernizing and upgrading / upkeep of the entire property. Our room was spotless. Bed was comfortable. There is a nice park and river walk right next to the hotel to take your dog. The front desk staff were fantastic. Absolutely no issues with this stay. I highly recommend it with or without pets. Right across the street is the Old Town Hotsprings with pools, water slides, fitness center and the hotel can provide discounts to it.

The Rabbit Ears Motel is in a wonderful spot, and we got a nice room with a balcony overlooking the river, so it was an ideal place to chill. It would have been perfect, except they don't allow unattended dogs in the rooms. My husband & I were there when the temperatures were in the 90s and Steamboat doesn't have many dog-friendly restaurants. We weren't able to leave Turnip in the car, so our choices were limited for meals and recreation.

Very nice park and River to walk the dogs outside the hotel! Big clean rooms! We also found an amazing dog park with open trails about 5 minutes away called Rita Valentine dog park! We took the dogs there everyday and they loved it! The people were very friendly in Steamboat Springs!

You can walk to downtown and several dog friendly restaurants. The motel is next to a beautiful creek side park and walking/bike path. Clean and friendly motel. Will definitely return.

Hotel is near the main road right across from the (lackluster) water "park". Room was good, bed was comfy. We also got a 2nd floor room with a view. Employees were good, helpful with no problems. Skipped room cleaning, my choice. Lots of places (food, shopping, etc) to walk to, right across a parking lot from Natural Grocers which was a win. Fridge and microwave worked fine, AC was cold. Suggestion: if you plan to visit with a pup think about doggy day care with Peace and Love Petcare. Have your vaccine records for the dogs and plan ahead as they do a visit to be sure your dog fits in. We had our lab there for a few days while we were in town and it worked out very well. They were great. Overall, perfect experience.

Had room as reserved and no discriminating against big girls! Gave us a great spot with balcony overlooking the river for humans and pooches to enjoy plus corner room with easy access to "outdoor facilities". Rabbit Ears is in a great location for enjoying downtown Steamboat Springs plus all the trails along the Yampa.
