Mountain Valley Lodge
Mountain Valley Lodge welcomes two pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night, plus a $100 refundable deposit. Only ground-floor rooms are pet friendly. Both dogs and cats are permitted, but pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms. Dog bones and waste bags are available at the office and there is a grassy area on the property. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

The hotel is in a nice location and there is a reasonable place to walk your dog. But the pet fee was very expensive ($25/pet/day). Because I had booked through BringFido and the printout I had indicated up to 2 pets for $25/day they made an exception, which was fortunate because we had a long stay. The breakfast was great, rooms were fine though no closet, which was odd. The plumbing wasn't great either but the pet room are on the ground floor with easy outside access so that was nice.

Stayed here with our 75 lb Goldendoodle and was happy about how quiet the place was (she can be a bit barky with lots of noise). The accommodations are very basic. Nothing fancy but clean and definitely a good option with a large dog.
