A super-cute hotel with a backwoods feel. Loved the friendly staff, the decor, the pool, the hot breakfast, and the comfy room. There’s plenty of green space for your dog. I highly recommend this place if you are eagle watching along the Mississippi River.

The pet friendly stuff was great, but know that this is a quirky hotel. We rented a suite and it had a small toilet. Couldn’t tell you the last time I saw one of those that wasn’t in a house built before 1960. Anyhow, there was plenty of room for an elongated one so this had to have been a design choice. There was also no place for them to stick a box of tissues in the bathroom. There was toilet paper, so not a big deal, but quirky. Light switch for the wet bar is behind a microwave (more quirkiness). Anyhow, room was clean but had a strong odor of some kind of stuff that was probably used to mask pet smells. I’m washing my otherwise clean clothes to get the smell out of them. Staff were very nice and breakfast was acceptable, but nothing amazing.

Grassy dog area out back. Nice rooms, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Only downfall is the location and they are a bit pricey plus pet fee.

If you like soft mattresses and tiny bathrooms. At least the room is clean.

The room was very clean and there were no old pet smells. The hotel has fun decor and there were lots of places to eat around it. We will be staying here again if we're in the area.
