The only pro is they are dog friendly. Otherwise, the room smelled (cigarette smoke, dog, mildew combo?), carpet was ancient and gross, furniture/mattress also extremely worn, there wasn’t even an outlet for the lamp next to my side of the bed, dead bugs on the bathroom floor, towels were as thin as sheets and off white/grey, crew of smokers hang out right next to the entrance to our room. I actually felt pretty creeped out at night with our room’s large first floor window facing the parking lot. I’m actually appalled how much money we had to spend for what we got. We stayed at a cheaper Days Inn on the UP that was much better and even included a continental breakfast.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. How it works here: Book and pay for room in advance. The dog fee of $20 per night is charged when you arrive. Super friendly and welcoming toward our 50 pound dog. Room was dated but clean. All the fixtures, though old, worked just fine. Buttons on the A/C unit are worn so you can't really tell which one turns it on-be patient, you'll find it. Towels are scratchy! We stayed two nights. Rooms have the old opening windows, which is nice. We miss those in newer hotels.
Our nights were quiet even though we were next to an entry hallway and vending machines. There is ample greenspace to walk the dog here. Could use an outside trash can but it wasn't a long walk to the dumpster to toss the poop bag. People who stayed here before us did not pick up after their dogs. I picked up extra. Come on people, allowing dogs is a courtesy service. Don't ruin it for the rest of us.

Staff was very nice. Room was outdated. The mattress were stained and old. It was nice to have coffee and pleasant staff. Happy to take our dog but added $20.per night, not sure why.

The price was to high for hotel. The rooms were very outdated. The room was decorated from 60's or 70's area. The hotel staff was very friendly.

The hotel is older and could really use some updates, especially for the price, although I realize this is a touristy area. Nothing special but we needed an overnight with our pup. The front desk was extremely friendly and gave us a room on the 1st floor near the door, which was perfect. The room was clean but just needed updating. I liked that they asked what kind of dog we had just in case he got out of the room and was in the hotel. It was a good overnight location for us. Easy parking, as we had a trailer too. Easy on and off the freeway too not close enough for noise to be an issue.

Upon arrival, the desk clerk gave me a doggie gift bag! Inside was a stainless bowl, a roll of poopie bags, some treats and a pamphlet of dog friendly restaurants, attractions and dog parks.
The room is updated, clean and comfortable. Very relaxing.
