Very run down. These Red Lion’s are wildly inconsistent. I stayed at one in Idaho that was about as nice as a Hampton Inn. This one is a dump. And the old lady behind the front desk has the personality of a wet dish towel and yelled at me when I tried to use a Visa prepaid card to pay for the hold charges. She has no business in customer service. I’ll be more careful before I book one of these hotels in the future.

We chose the hotel because of its low pet fee, but the towels and bed sheets had stains, and the entire hotel was in very poor condition.

The hotel is very worn. Smelled like my great grand mother’s home. Drain in shower rusted - grout permanently discolored - did not use refrigerator in the room as an old Modelo was still in their exploded. Basically, it was a place to sleep and get out. We did not use the shower due to the above. The staff was friendly. Despite the banner at the front of the hotel...there is NO breakfast. False advertising. I gave 1 bone only for the friendly staff and it was a place to sleep and accommodate my dog.

I've had the experience at a number of places now where a "nonsmoking" room still smells like cigarettes. The shower stall also needs to be replaced: it's old and stained, and the grout/caulk is mildewed. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel, and the bonus is that it's very close to downtown, easy walk to a lot of great restaurants, shops, and so on.
