Room was great and large grassy areas on all sides to take your dog out. Keep in mind the first floor rooms all open directly outside (no inside hallway) and they have a smoking chair outside each room door. So there is the possibility that there may people outside your room smoking all day and all night.

My first stay at a Red Roof Inn. Set-up like a motel which is really convenient when you are hauling in dog beds, etc.

The only reason I did not give five bones was because the floor was sticky. I carry disinfectant wipes so I mopped the floor and It was fine. The tub was clean and the beds were comfortable. The desk clerks were great and even made a fresh pot of coffee and called the room when it was ready. There is a sidewalk in front of the hotel to walk as well as a green area in the front and back. Located right on route 9 about 10 miles south of Lake George, there is an American style grill restaurant. Close to shopping, many other restaurants and the Northway (I-87).

Room was basic and fairly clean, but they used this horrid deodorizer in the room which gave me a vial headache - I had to open door and keep fan blowing fresh air in so I could go to sleep. There was mold/dirt in the bathroom and it looks like they have had a few leaks in there and didn't even bother to patch the paint. Only good side is that it was reasonably priced for the holiday, but I don't plan on going back.

One of the nicer Red Roofs we have stayed in. Large, clean room with plenty of grassy area around for dogs and poop bag station in the back. Didn’t notice any unpicked up poop either! Convenient to Lake George.

This is a great place for a one night or a short stay. Room size was very spacious and included refrigerator and microwave. Overall a good value and experience but as others have stated, dogs cannot stay in room.

There is no dog park on site, but there is a grassy area to walk. Dogs are not allowed to stray in the room alone, but they do stay for free. There is a free dog park, a dog friendly beach, and dog friendly restaurants in the area.
The hotel's front desk personnel was very friendly and our Sparky loves it here.
