We look forward to welcoming you to our Beachside House, 550m from the beach, in the secluded village of Mudjimba. Your family, friends and pets will relax in a holiday mood in this coastal retreat with local beaches, cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops all just a stone’s throw away. Add to that all the comforts from home in our spacious house and all you need to do is start unwinding.
Relax in coastal style in our modern home with all the comforts you expect from a luxury space. The home offers generous sized bedrooms with multiple living and outdoor areas. Return from the beach and enjoy a warm swim in the pool or hot outdoor shower. We have catered for every need to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Bedrooms:
Each bedroom is air conditioned.
The main bedroom is a generous retreat on an upper level with a walk-in robe, ensuite and beautiful sea breezes. King bed with King Koil mattress.
2nd Bedroom has a King bed with King Koil mattress and built-in cupboards.
3rd Bedroom has two King singles with King Koil mattresses.
New modern Instant Up sleeper couch in second Living Area, with air-conditioning, sleeps two more guests.
There is also the use of a travel cot if needed.
All beds come with quality linen and towels supplied.
Kitchen:
Kitchen/dining area is airconditioned.
The large modern central kitchen has everything you need to prepare the fresh produce of the Sunshine Coast, from a quick snack to a gourmet meal. You will find a well-appointed open plan kitchen with the latest appliances.

Living Area 1:
The main living area is focused on a central outdoor space, with timber bifold doors opening out onto the undercover alfresco space. A stylish and spacious upholstered sofa with corner modular couch and ottoman will fit the whole family and more to snuggle up to a good movie. Smart TV: 82Inch complete with Netflix, Stan and Disney.
Xbox One with games and three controls.
Free unlimited Wi-Fi.
Living area 2:
Airconditioned.
Relax in the separate area with the long warm and friendly fabric upholster couch seating six adults comfortably.

Laundry:
There is a full laundry with state-of-the-art washing machine and dryer.
Outdoor clothesline also provided.
Pool:
Small heated 4.5m by 2.75m and 1.8m deep pool with small waterfall feature and LED lights (Pool was installed in May 2022 so any reviews before this date do not include the pool).
Pets:
Fully fenced garden.
Bowls supplied.
Dog bed supplied.
Other:
You are welcome to enjoy our beach gear - umbrella, boogie boards and foam surfboards. Load all your beach gear into the handy beach trolley for the short, flat stroll to the beach.
Or safely use one of our retro bikes to cruise to the beach and back.
Professional cleaning and linen service ensure the house meets all current COVID-19 cleaning guidelines.
*Granny flat extension unoccupied but inaccessible as it stores our personal and cleaning goodies.
About Mudjimba:
Mudjimba is a hidden oasis for travellers. The Mudjimba Surf Beach offers visitors a tranquil setting, a peaceful haven far away from the bustling crowds. Mudjimba still has that village feel and the area is flat (great for walking and the bike enthusiast).
What we love about Mudjimba is that many people have never heard of it! It's a place set back in time, undeveloped and an unspoiled coastal haven. Mudjimba is a “hidden gem” and is quieter than the sister beaches Coolum, Mooloolaba and Noosa.
It is a beautiful small community - you never have to get in the car.
Mudjimba Beach is just a short walk from the house, where you can walk, swim, kayak, stand up paddle board, surf, sail and fish while taking in the view of Old woman island (Mudjimba Island).
Mudjimba beach is a dog friendly beach.
Stroll along Mudjimba beach and find a quiet and private spot amongst the grassy dunes.
There is an iconic coastal walk from Mudjimba beach to Marcoola.
There is a parkrun (5km) on Saturdays starting at Mudjimba beach.
There is plentiful, free parking close to the beachfront for easy beach access.
You will find a fantastic kids playground adjacent to Mudjimba Surf Club. This grassy recreation area is well-shaded and covered BBQs and picnic tables make this a great spot for a long, lazy lunch.
Just across the road there are numerous eateries serving everything from traditional fish ‘n’ chips to organic, locally grown fare and espresso coffee.
The beach is patrolled and you should only swim between the flags near Mudjimba Surf Club’s watch tower in case of rips or strong currents.
Along the beach you’ll find excellent fishing spots in the rip gutters and at the river mouth just south of Twin Waters.
For surfers there are consistent surf breaks along the beach. The patrolled parts of the beach are perfect for the kids’ boogie board adventures.
Mudjimba Island (Old Woman Island)
Just off the coast of Mudjimba is Mudjimba Island which was once owned by Sean Connery. Affectionately known by locals as Old Woman Island, it’s a favourite spot for snorkelers and divers with its amazing coral gardens and myriad of sea life including lionfish, butterfly fish and moray eels.
Mudjimba Island is arguably known for one of the best surfing spots in the Sunshine Coast.

Bean There Done That Espresso Bar
Young local Barista Daniel Carew has opened bean There Done That Espresso Bar with two blends on offer, conveniently located across from the north shore tavern, with funky distressed pre loved furniture that's for sale and a selection of homemade cakes and food with gluten free and vegan options, its perfect if you’re looking for a delicious take away coffee or want to relax and soak in the ambient atmosphere (Facebook).

A family business located in the heart of Mudjimba serving Italian cuisine with ingredients of the finest quality sourced locally. All food is made in house fresh daily including pizza bases and pasta (Facebook).

High Tide Bar, Grill & Cafe
High Tide was recently voted one of the Sunshine Coasts Top 12 places to dine according to locals. Catching the sea breeze opposite Mudjimba Beach the cool coastal ambiance is a relaxing place for a coffee or breakfast or grab one of their specialty burgers or fish tacos after a quick swim at the beach. If afternoon drinks are more your style, unwind with a cold beer and some of their famous fried chicken wings or dinner and a glass of your favourite wine. There's also live music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoons (TripAdvisor).
The Wharf Mooloolaba
Overlooking the Mooloolaba River, visitors have the option to partake in various water-based activities, enjoy local produce at our 15 different restaurants, cafes and bars, shop at our unique fashion and homewares boutiques or stroll around the boardwalk taking in the Marina and river views (wharfmooloolaba).
Noosa Heads
Surrounded by bay, beach, National Park and river, Noosa Heads has a laidback coastal vibe where your journey to holiday relaxation starts. Stay, eat, shop, drink, relax and play in the heart of Noosa Heads, home to some of Australia’s favourite restaurants, bars, boutiques, and holiday resorts. Swim at Noosa Main Beach, surf the World Surfing Reserve, walk the Noosa National Park’s stunning forest and coastal trails or picnic as the sun sets behind the river’s mouth (visitnoosa).
