  Clean and convenient to I-5

  We stayed one night only but we’re pleased with everything. Receptionist was efficient and informative. The room was clean and the beds were comfy!

  No microwave! Tiny toilets!

  The room was nice but innkeepers should know that folks who book a pet-friendly room, and who pay a pet fee, are probably not planning a nice dinner at a restaurant. Many of us, I believe, bring food to the room and heat it up in the microwave. I do, anyway. Not here -- no microwave! They had a microwave in the front office, though, and I was able to carry my food containers down there to heat up.

  The other surprising minus - the day I arrived the outside temp was in the thirties. Got to the room, and the room temp was around fifty! No heat! Took about an hour for the little heater under the window to get the room up to 68. Most places I stay have the heater running before I check in, even if at only 62 or something.

  Third minus - this is one of those motels that has the little child-sized toilets in the rooms. Perfect if you're traveling with a bunch of school kids. Not so great if you're a 6-ft 200-lb man. Luckily, my room was close to the breakfast area where I found a men's room with an adult-sized toilet.

  Location is close to the interstate exit. There is a grassy area for dogs. Breakfast was above average. Check-in was easy. Parking lot was well-lit. Two-queen room was spacious. Floors not slippery.

  Lovely Place to Stay

  My dog, Winslow, my cat, Godfrey, & I thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the BW in Ashland, OR. The room was very clean and quiet and the service (including the check-in process by Blade) was welcoming and helpful.

  Great hotel for humans and dogs!

  Excellent help with check in by Ryan—very helpful and accommodating. Room was very nice and dog area was better than any I’ve visited over last three weeks! Has nice restaurant next door and easy freeway access. Great stay!

  Great Place

  What a wonderful place to stay in the Ashland area. The room was very big and well fitted-out with everything you need. There is plenty of parking and they have two Level 2 EV chargers available free to guests. It is far enough off the highway to be very quiet at night and they have plenty of yard space to keep the pooch happy.

  Dirty underwear left in the room!

  First of all, they tried to give us a room in the driveway entrance at the check in station. Noise all night long from people and cars going in and out and checking in....I don’t think so, especially with a dog. We said no so then we got a room by the ice maker which made noise all night long. Again- setting my dog up for failure as far as barking. The worst was we found a dirty pair of thong underwear on the floor. Obviously not doing the Covid cleaning let alone the regular cleaning. Epic fail on cleanliness. Gross. They didn’t care when we told them about it. The carpeting was really dirty and the ottoman in the room was stained and dirty. Will never stay here again.

  Comfortable stay

  All pet friendly rooms on ground floor with a large grassy area right outside the door with doggy bag station. Very clean grounds. Room was large, clean, and fresh smelling. Only negative for us (which doesn't affect the bones rating) is that they advertise rv/trailer parking, which is not accurate. The first night we had to back our box trailer into a spot and unhitch it. The 2nd night we were able to move it to a better spot, parking it across multiple spaces. The hotel has limited parking, so that was not ideal. Will definitely stay here on our next visit, sans trailer.

  Great for Pups!

  Nice accommodations for our small dog, good service. 4 out of 5 because the rooms could have been a bit cleaner (table hadn't been wiped off after previous occupants lunch, lots of dust behind chairs...) but beds/bath clean and a pet pack with sheet, bag and a treat given at registration.

  Such a cute hotel, lots of room for doggies and humans in our room, grassy (clean) areas, restaurants that deliver to your room for free, and such nice staff. Probably the the best hotel stay I’ve ever had!

  Beautiful, clean and comfortable

  Like most Best Westerns I have stayed in, this one was great. Clean and well appointed... plus it has beautiful mountain views. Only downside is that is is not in a walking friendly neighborhood... so if you want to take you pup for an evening stroll.. you kind of have to get back into the car.
