  Very dog friendly. Enough grassy areas and seemed like a better neighborhood than by the freeway. Taprock restaurant across the street was very good - hotel gave us a $5 voucher. Staff is super nice. Free breakfast is always nice. Every room has a balcony overlooking the river. Dog loved it including the goodie bag. Humans too. Great stop while driving north.

  Perfect location for a pit stop while traveling north. The room was spacious, clean and included a balcony overlooking the river, which kept my pups entertained.

  Great Hotel Experience

  The front desk staff was very friendly and provided treats and poop bags. The room overlooked the river and was updated and clean. There were plenty of potty spots, including a park that you can walk to across the bridge. The surrounding area is a little bleak -- not much to walk to for dinner, but plenty you can drive to.

  Great Location and People

  Our room was right on the Rogue River. It was clean and large. The people at the front desk indicated we could go anywhere on the facility including breakfast and happy hour. We will be back!

  The staff was super nice and helpful. The location is convenient and every room has a private porch with river view. Breakfast was served for a long time and was very good.

  Great Stay! Highly Recommend!

  First your room faces the Rogue River and you can just sit on your patio and watch the water flow by! Room is clean, staff are friendly, and your pet is WELCOME!! The room itself is very clean, comfortable, and the showers are powerful! No worries about lack of hot water and the towels were thick! Hotel staff are very friendly and want to interact with your pets! The gift bag for the dogs was great with treats, water dish, poop bags, and a blanket for the pets to be on the bed with you. Nice areas for the pets to use and the property is kept up very nicely. You can't go wrong by staying here!!

  Much better than the usual "pet friendly"

  You know how "pet friendly" usually means "pets are tolerated"? Not here. These folks are pet friendly.
  We stayed here twice Dec/Jan 2021/2022. Two seniors with two 50-lb doodles. At check-in, greeted with a bag of mini-milk bones, some doggie bags, and a spare sheet to protect the bedspread from dirty feet (nice touch because we always feel horrible if our dogs muddy the bedcovers). Friendly front desk personnel. Parking near your room. Dog friendly rooms have the usual bare floors, but these floors are not slippery so we didn't worry about our dogs jumping down off the beds and losing their footing. Rooms were nicely furnished and clean. Private balcony with a river view. Showers had a ton of pressure and bathroom towels were the kind that you wish your towels at home were this nice.

  Had one opportunity to interface with the housekeeping crew and they were as friendly as could be. I'm actually going to Google the soap they provide - I liked it that much. One half bone removed only because there is no specific outside "pet area." We used a barked landscaping bed along the back edge of the parking lot We travel thru Grants Pass several times a year and this is now our go-to place.

  Good hotel, bad town

  The hotel was great. I would not recommend leaving your room. The town was horrible. Food options were sad. Service terrible; 2.5 hours for breakfast. Mostly, I think because we were two men. But the hotel was nice and at least one of the staff was friendly.

  Great location, large room

  Stayed one night while driving from Seattle to San Francisco. The pluses... The location is great. We walked into town for dinner...lots of options, even for our little dog. The front desk staff were very nice. The office is open 24/7. The coffee and hot breakfast were good. The room was not carpeted (it was a designated pet room) and it was huge. We had a balcony overlooking the Rogue River. Room had a fridge as well which helped us out. The minuses... the bed was not the best, nor the worst. Also the TV was tiny compared to the dresser it was on. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

  It’s a nice place to stay, especially with having dogs, big dogs. The view from the deck is outstanding. Even for humans! Comfortable room with all the amenities.

  This was our last stop on a very long trip and it did not disappoint. The front desk staff was very nice, the room was comfortable and refreshed. The river view was nice, but too chilly outside to fully enjoy. The breakfast offered a lot of good options and was prepared perfectly by the hotel staff and ready at the time requested. Saw quite a few other dogs onsite and would definitely recommend to other pet owners!

  Lovely hotel

  Although my husband and I (with our husky) needed a brief stay to break up a long drive, we wanted a place we could enjoy. Riverside Inn had wonderful rooms, all that overlooked the river, included breakfast, and had an easy river walk crossing to a dog friendly restaurant (okay food) on the other side of the road. Very comfortable and surprisingly quiet compared to the proximity to the river. Outdoor balcony had chairs and a table for us to eat our breakfast. Definitely would recommend.
