  I’d stay here again with my pup as it’s an easy on and off as you’re passing through. It’s close to the historical part of Fredericksburg and eating in town if you do stay ask for a room facing the back because there is a large grassy area dog relief stations. I wish I had known this!

  This is about what I would expect for a motel at this location. Not the cleanest place but quite acceptable for a last-minute road trip stop. There is an area in the back for walking dogs. Neighborhood is a little scary. The price was good. I would stay here again if needed.

  Very clean

  Stopped here on our way from Massachusetts to Florida with our dog. Gentleman at the desk was very nice and room was clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Had area to walk the dog around and was quiet at night. Will definitely stop there again on our way to Florida.

  Wonderful Experience

  The room was absolutely spotless and the staff was very friendly. There’s a large (relative to other places we’ve stayed) area for walking the dog and that area was clean as well. No fee for pets and the price was right for an above average no-frills motel. I’ll definitely stay again as I travel on 95 to visit family.

  We were stopping for the night driving between Massachusetts and South Carolina. This place was clean and inexpensive and felt like our car was safe. Would stay here again.

  Good Pricing, Nice Staff

  Older modest hotel, lovingly maintained, close to I-95. Despite road construction at the entrance driveway, it was quiet, clean and had all the basics anyone could ask for. Despite being a modest hotel, the front desk was staffed with 2 persons at 10P and 8A. Yard showed effort at landscaping and maintaining a nice dog walk as well as picnic area. Sink was low for a tall person, but worked fine otherwise.

  Inexpensive stop right off 95

  We stayed here for one night as we just needed a pet friendly place to stay on a road trip. Our dog was able to stay for free which was a plus. It was very inexpensive and is a 2-story motel style building. It was generally clean and we didn't have any major complaints. No amenities or ambiance to speak of, but that wasn't what we were looking for...or what we paid for. For a cheap place to stay with your pet for a night, it was very sufficient.

  I stay in many Red Roofs when I travel with my dog. This is the best one. Newly renovated, clean, friendly service. Quiet, away from the road. Great value.

  Pleasantly Surprised

  This was not what I expected. This Red Roof Inn was wonderful. My adult daughter, who travels a lot, said this is the best Red Roof Inn she’s ever been to. It room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and my dog was happy too! We will definitely stay here again.

  More than adequate

  At first glance there wasn’t a flat surface to walk a dog except for parking lot nor a blade of grass to walk on. Asked the attendant where to take dog and he said anywhere out there and the only grass spot was at about a 45-degree angle. But once settled to him for a longer walk and around the back was a really decent area to walk and even had sanitation station complete with bags at each end. A little signage at check-in would help since the clerk didn’t seem very informative. Don’t get me wrong they were polite and efficient just not very informative. For all I know it could have been a language thing

  The hotel is right next to the freeway and a major road which resulted in some noise but not terrible. The room was clean and efficient and there are some grassy areas out front for the dog. Staff was friendly and helpful.

  The room was a basic motel room with no frills. However the pet area had a large grassy area for walking the dog. They even provided poop bags and a receptacle for waste. So A+ for dogs area but C- for motel room.
