This place needs a makeover.

Very clean and comfortable hotel! The front desk people were welcoming and helpful. Although there wasn’t much space right around the outside of the hotel for our dog, there was a sidewalk that lead from the hotel to a neighborhood that made for a pleasant walk for us and our pup!

Right when you walk in the door you notice the humidity, the lack of fresh air. Real easy to hear the people next door. Luckily ours quieted down right at 9pm. You have to go a short distance off property for pup pooing and peeing. Beds were good, room clean, nice shower setup. Breakfast was post COVID bare minimal which was expected. Will not return.

Great experience, no trouble with staff or guests. Only issue no grass for taking pets out. My 2 dogs did fine, they are not picky. Others may struggle.

La Quinta, formerly the king of dog friendly hotels, has just disappointed to the extent that we won’t go there anymore. The room was find, though smaller than most. We could just fit Jaspers dog bed in. There was very little green space close, but enough. The killer was that the walls and floors were incredibly thin. The person next to us was talking on her cell until midnight in a normal voice, and it was so loud that she kept us up. Likewise, every step from the people in the room above was a thump. This is clearly a problem with the structure. The folks at the front desk were sympathetic when I told them the next morning, but didn’t offer any return on my $150. I miss the old La Quinta where dogs stayed free and service mattered.

- KathiDec 30, 2021Lacking for Dogs and Not Great for Their Owners
Positive: the room was attractive. Negatives: 1) the walls were very, very thin...heard conversations next door and heard the tv late into the night; 2) at check-in was given a paper to sign saying that there was a 50 pound weight limit on dogs. I had a 90 pound great Dane with me My confirmation from Fido said that up to 2 dogs of any size were allowed. I lied on the form and took the dog in and out through a back door; 3) there wasn't any designated area to walk dogs nor were any poop bags provided as there usually are at La Quinta; 4) the back door (used for walking dogs) had to remain propped open as the key card reader wasn't working on the door (and according to the desk staff, it hadn't been working for days). This made the hotel much less safe; 5) the hotel was a few miles from the interstate, adding nearly 5 miles (round trip) to our already much too long trip. We won't stay there again.

The room itself was clean and nice. As for dog friendly, I'm not sure how. We had to walk our dogs over to the car dealership next door to even find a patch of grass. There was nothing for dogs at hotel. No check in treats, no poop bags, and nowhere on site for them to even use the bathroom. The hotel was very quiet which made for every noise to be heard a bit louder.

Hotel was clean and precautions were made for COVID. There was no breakfast provisions which was the only one of three LaQuintas that we stayed in on this trip. Others all provided some breakfast.

Has stayed at hotel before. Won’t be lodging here again. Hallways not clean, cleared of guests bagged garbage. Room not vacuumed . But bathroom the worse. Glass shower enclosure has black mold on it. Showers tile floor, wall & grout has bacteria colony commonly called pink mold on it.

As one of the less-expensive choices in the area, and one that allows dogs (including large ones like our 88-pound shepherd mix) with no additional fee, it would not have been surprising to find the accommodations in poor condition. So it was pleasantly surprising how nice the place was. It's pretty small, and we were forewarned that there was no elevator, so we made sure to specify a first-floor room (our guy has an issue with stairs), which they accommodated. There's no grass on the property to speak of, except a small patch adjacent to the sidewalk. The bank next door has a decent stretch of lawn, though. All in all, pretty good, and the price was right.

The hotel was neat and clean. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful with a selection of eggs and waffles. Illie, our dog, was comfortable. There is a small, grassy area for the dogs. However, there is also a sidewalk for walking the pets as well. Would definitely come back!

Hotel is very clean and has been renovated. Amenities include friendly staff, decent free breakfast and late check out time of noon. No pet fees are a big plus

Very happy with this La Quinta. Our room was clean and fairly updated. There is no dedicated dog area, but plenty of areas to walk your dog, with sidewalks, and very lit up at night.
