The Ridge was not fancy but felt quite comfortable and our dogs were welcomed as nicely as us people were. Rooms are basic but clean with beautiful surroundings. Dog walking area was easy to reach.

Perfect for my little dog. Rooms were nice and clean. I was located near the dog relieving area. Separate entrance so we didn’t have to go through the main entrance. Would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, we encountered consecutive rainy days during our two-day stay at the hotel. However, the picturesque scenery and warm hospitality of the hotel provided us with a different kind of delight. Taking our big dog for a walk in the rain, sipping coffee together with our furry friend in the café, and the friendly greetings from the hotel staff to our dog, even some fellow guests purposely coming to take photos with the dog. If it weren't for the rain, perhaps we wouldn't have noticed these beautiful and kind gestures around us. They were like poetry and paintings, enriching and warming our lives.

Room was clean and patio makes a difference for midnight potty breaks. However, the pathway is dark in some spots and the designated dog area is not conveniently located or accessible. It is also not lit at night and that was a disappointment.

This was our first vacation with our two dogs. We chose to stay at The Ridge Hotel. We were so pleasantly surprised! The grounds are nicely kept, the hotel itself is very nice as well. Our room was a standard room (it says online the pet friendly rooms are only the standard rooms) but it was adequate for what we needed. You aren't going to be spending a lot of time in the room anyway, right? Our pups were very good and seemed to really enjoy their stay. Lots of good smells around the pet area outside, which also had a stand for bags and a disposal area. Couldn't have been any easier! We did have them out by the pool bar area and many people commented on them, with staff saying they were a pet friendly hotel. Judging from the guests reply, I think they can expect more pets coming to stay at The Ridge Hotel in the future! Also, the restaurants on the premises were excellent as well! Win-Win-Win!!!!

I didn't like having to pay an extra $75 for our little dog, but the hotel grounds are perfect for dogs.

Able to take our dog for a short drive to walk around the lake area. Hotel was accommodating for our dog. Only areas restricted was the pool and restaurant which is understandable.
