Not a bad hotel but in need of a renovation. The room was decent and breakfast had to be purchased but it wasn't expensive and they had good service.

Convenient location, clean, fine for dogs. No free breakfast - would have to pay $5 per person at the hotel desk for a basic breakfast at the attached restaurant. McDonald’s was only a 4 minute walk, so we went there instead.

Old Chicago restaurant attached to the hotel. Modern rooms. Good bed and linens. Strong coffee but no real cream. Bathroom was too small. HVAC very good. Plenty of parking.

Everything was great. Rooms, amenities, check-in, TV, internet, checkout. Only glitch, breakfast is not free (not a big deal) but you must sit down and order.

The one and only area to walk my dog was a small thin strip of grass across from the back parking lot. It was not a desirable location to walk my dog nor was it picked up. I definitely think they could do better.

Easy on off highway, nice room, great on-site restaurant. Only detractor is a fairly long walk from room across large parking lot to very small thin strip of grass for pet relief.

It looks okay when you walk in. Rooms are old and show it. Room had a direct door outside and one to inner corridor. Seemed like a good deal until I looked out the door. It was the back side of the hotel and nothing buy hot asphalt near by. Had to carry my pup to the grassy areas as it was 95° degrees out!
Outside door was not sealed well and rattled with the wind, smoke from people smoking outside leaked through the door seal as well. Staff were friendly enough. - BobbieJul 3, 2022Nice stay
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. We had two rooms and we each had our cats. Definitely recommend.

The dog area with a "pergola" is a joke! It is at the far edge of the busy parking lot and a mess of dog poop! There were no outside areas to walk my dog. The hallways are very long and outside access is either through the lobby and elevator which my dog was terrified of, or back door stairways with heavy doors. I would not stay here again with my dog.

The ice maker is in the hall, not tucked behind a wall. The dogs were up and barking at 5:00 am each time they easily heard the crunch of falling ice.

Great place to stay. Old Chicago was great. The customer service in the evening was lacking. The gal that checked us out was awesome.. The overall stay was amazing and very pet friendly.
