Our dog after a visit to Prairie View park

This photo was taken at Prairie View Dog Park in Vicksburg, MI. This is our lovey soft coated wheaten terrier Olive after her visit to Prairie View Dog Park, which resulted in an unprovoked attack by a brindle colored pit bull mix on New Years Day, 1-1-17. After separating my dog from the attacker, the attacker's owner took her dog and left the park as fast as she could and was not interested in Olive's condition and did not provide any contact information or offer to pay for Olive's injuries, which required a holiday emergency room visit for three stitches, antibiotics for a week, pain medication and the apparent psychological trauma that remains from the attack. That $25 bargain dog park cost me $255 for the emergency vet visit, not to mention any future cost for followup visits and the psychological damage to our sweet girl. Use this park at your own/your dogs risk, because not all dog owner users of this park are responsible and honest people.
