Ladder stairs down to the beach

This photo was taken at Fort Funston Beach in San Francisco, CA. To access the beach from the parking lot, walk along the sandy path at the edge of the Hang-glider area. To find your way back up from the beach look for the lone Cypress Tree which marks access to the trail leading to the steps. It's a fairly steep climb up and the steps are not evenly distributed, but there is a rope railing if you need a bit of support.
