    New And Improved

they have been bought by the people that owned the Trading Post, had their grand opening a couple of months ago and it’s delicious.
our waiter was definitely not fine dining trained so don’t expect that, the food was terrific though.
they were more than accommodating to my 2 giant breed dogs and brought a large bowl of water for them.

Extremely overpriced and only sorta dog friendly

Yes, they will allow your dog on the patio. Yes they will bring your dog a bowl of water. That is the extent of their dog-friendliness.

The bowl they brought water in for our dog was dirty, it had some sort of green slimy stuff all over the side. When I asked if they would take that away and bring a cup of water (we had a water bowl for the pup) the waitress acted extremely put out.

Food was terrible. Our steaks were over cooked, tough, gristly, portions were laughably small and not even close to being worth $32 per plate. The patio after dark is very dark - perfect for a romantic evening, a nightmare when you have folks nearly tripping over your paralyzed dog who is laying next to your chair, minding her own business.

We wound up stopping for burgers on our way back to the hotel just so we wouldn't go to bed hungry.

    Good Food!

Steak was great! Awesome drinks. Hit happy hour and couldn't do dinner till 5pm. Very accommodating with dogs. Green chilli cheese fries a bit disappointing, salad was good tho.

    Very dog friendly

Had dinner here recently on a rainy evening. We were having to eat on the patio because of our dog, but they brought us inside in an out-of-the-way corner. We had a beautiful dinner and they treated our dog with kindness. Very highly recommended ... this is currently my favorite restaurant in Taos ... the other one that comes close is the Old Trading Post.
