- StaceyJun 20, 2023I WAS TOLD TO LEAVE MY DOGS IN THE CAR!!!
I don't usually post reviews but the experience here was horrendous and I had to warn others.
We were visiting on vacation and opted to come here as they had an open patio and was tagged as pet friendly and we had two puppers with us. The host guy who greeted us had informed us that due to rain earlier the outdoor patio was closed and if we wanted to eat there we would either have to order Togo or leave our dogs in the car!!!. Who does that?!? Never ever tell people to leave their pets in the car. What's wrong with you? I will never go back there. Please educate your servers or hostess to never instruct people to leave their pets in the car.
We ended up at the reef and the hostess there was more than happy to clean an outdoor table for us so that we could dine with our pups.
- CarolApr 1, 2023Pretty place with water view.
Casual. Good food. Only a few tables for pups, so arrive early.
- CherylMar 4, 2023Great service and good food
We sat at the outside patio but had no issues with birds. Very nice watching over the river. Great service and tasty food.
- CherylJun 5, 2022Watching the sunset!
We always enjoy the food at Aunt Kate’s and we always choose to eat outdoors! This was our first time to take our 1.5 year old goldens with us. Dogs are only allowed on the level by the water which gets full sun although there are umbrellas for each table. We prefer the sunset time of day for the dogs’ comfort. Also they do not take reservations so be prepared to wait but there is plenty of places to walk your dog while waiting. We always take our own water and water bowels but the waitress did offer to bring water before we had gotten ours out. Will definitely be taking the pups back here again!

Acted like it was a pain that we had a dog. You can only sit in the far bottom patio, where the attacker birds are. While the waitress was sitting down our bread the birds went to town on the bread and waitress left it there for us to eat, like we wanted the birds leftovers? No thanks. I would give this 0 bones if I could.
- AliciaDec 20, 2021Great location, service, food, and dog friendly!
Our family of 4, plus our husky, really enjoyed the outdoor seating with water view. Our dog even made a little dog friend. The service and food was great as well. We would definitely return and recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch & drinks at Aunt Kate’s with our golden retriever. There were many other dogs on the patio and was obviously full of regulars who enjoy bringing their dogs. Very dog friendly!
- NicholasJul 9, 2021Nice Patio View Of The River
Food was great. Our fur baby had fun too!
- DavidJan 2, 2021Great location.
We had the She crab soup and Tilapia fish bites plate. Soup was ok and the fish bites were very fresh and tasty. Also had a mac and cheese side that is freshly made in house. Overall really yummy and our lab was taken care of with a bowl of cold water. I recommend this place.
- LorettaOct 7, 2019Nice staff and very accomadating for our little boy!
They were not real busy when we got there and the hostess set us on the patio in the shade instead of the place in the sun that was normally for pets. The meal was good and the key lime pie was a nice ending! Will come back again!
- KelbyOct 2, 2019Delicious
Sat with our dogs on the patio and they brought them ice water and offered them a treat. Our food was great the service was great. We have been here when the service has been slow in the evenings and on weekends it does take a while but the food is always been great and we generally see manatees

Service was poor and the food was mediocre
- JoanJun 6, 2018Disappointed
The crab salad was not too fresh. The shrimp salad wasn't real fresh and was a little spicy, not what I expected. The meatloaf tasted strange and decided not to eat it. They did have seating for pets, but it was not on the pretty porch.
