Situated in the Van Dykes Common Shopping Center, Mr. Empanada is committed to serving delicious crescent-shaped Spanish pastries in a cozy, casual atmosphere that offers dog-friendly outside seating. A simple but flavorful menu features grilled chicken and chef salads, black bean soup, steak frites, Cuban sandwiches, and of course, tasty empanadas packed with savory fillings such as beef and cheese, crabmeat, BBQ chicken, guava and cream cheese, Italian sausage, and ground beef. Anyone whose never tasted authentic empanadas before needs to pay a visit to Mr. Empanada. Dogs are welcome at the two large outdoor tables. Mr. Empanada is open from 11am to 6pm seven days a week.
