Dogs are welcome at four seasonal outdoor tables at this Clemson restaurant. Southern seafood and steak dishes are served in addition to sushi, pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches. Popular menu items include crab cakes, bowls of lobster bisque, smoked barbecue pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and collard greens, shrimp and cheddar cheese grits, veal strip loin chop with mushroom risotto and haricot verts, and pan-fried grouper topped with lump crab meat and asparagus and drizzled with hollandaise sauce. Blue Heron Restaurant & Sushi Bar is open Sunday through Wednesday from 4:30pm until 9pm, Thursday through Saturday from 4:30pm until 10pm.
