    The Pub and Tap Room

    Located at the Inn at Wise, in Wise, VA, The Pub and Tap Room is a casual eatery that serves up delicious bar fare with a bit of a twist. Choose from menu options like appetizers, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, Southern-style comfort food, and more. Your pup is welcome to join you at one of their six pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal (Fido must be 30 pounds or less.) Start off with a cold beer and an order of the Pork Nachos topped with slow-roasted pork belly, white cheddar sauce, black beans, tomato, lettuce, and cilantro lime salsa. Next, chow down on the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich with basil aioli, tomato chutney, goat cheese, and romaine, on a grilled brioche roll, served with your choice of side (fries, mashed potatoes, onion rings, green beans, mac and cheese, veggies, and more.)       Cool Courtyard

      You can select your seating in a lovely secluded courtyard as music plays. The food was delicious, not your typical "bar food". The staff was very friendly and attentive, talking to our dog & even showing us pics of their own dogs. My only complaint is that it was initially hard to get anyone's attention to place an order.
