Dogs are welcome at Ladles Soups on S Croatan Highway in Kill Devil Hills, where you and Fido will discover two dog-friendly tables outside. This owner operated franchise restaurant started life in Charleston, and through soaring popularity has spread across the country. Their concept is to offer a large selection of homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches inspired by the chefs in their kitchens. Their popular soups include garden vegetable, loaded potato, tomato basil, chicken noodle, and turkey chili. If you'd prefer a sandwich, you should try their egg salad sandwich or BLT on pretzel bread. Please note that table service isn't available, so your dog will need to be tied up outside when you go in to order.
