Jakes Uptown is a dog-friendly restaurant serving burgers and beer to Dallas locals and tourists alike. Visitors to Jakes with Fido in tow can head to one of its several outdoor tables to watch the game and dig into a Jalapeno Bottle Cap Burger piled with double cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mustard, and jalapeno bottle caps. Jakes' menu is comprised of starters, salads, sandwiches, Big Chicago Dawgs, double-meat burgers, and Texas Traditions such as Kick'in Chicken Fried Steak or Chicken. Diners with room for dessert can indulge in a shake, malt or Granny Jakes Mellow Cake. Jakes Uptown is open Sunday through Thursday from 8am to 10pm and Friday and Saturday from 8am to 12am.
