  Covered Patio Perfect For Dinner With Our Dog

  Found by searching BringFido. Evening was so nice, just about everyone selected a table outside whether they had a dog or not. Had the roasted chicken with grapefruit kale salad — so good and staff was really great!!

  Nice dog friendly patio

  Came here with the pup for a beer on a Thursday night. They have a nice, spacious patio with a heater. They were very friendly and brought him some water.

  Fine Rural Texas Dining with your Pup

  I can’t speak for the previous review’s experience. My wife, our pup, Koi, and I have visited the Water Stop twice. The first time was for dinner, the second was for brunch. The restaurant is very accommodating for dogs with outdoor seating. They have water bowls on hand for your dog in the Texas heat. We like to order a side of meat, like a burger for our dog to enjoy while we’re eating. They always brought something as asked. The human food is excellent, with a simple menu. I tried their pasta dish, and the spicy chicken sandwich on my two visits. Both were presented very well, and tasted great. The food is gourmet in a very Texas setting of sheet metal awnings, and sun burnt rust. Highly recommended when you come down to Marfa to visit.

  Not respectful of service dog

  Customer had an off leash dog who approached a service dog, despite owner asking numerous times to keep dog away. Evidently if you are a “ local” & know the owner you can do as you please. A medical emergency with the dog owner occurred & owner just asked them to leave so his friend wouldn’t be upset!!
