Tired & not clean
Quality Inn SomersetWe were here for a quick overnight during a long road trip. The staff was welcoming to the dog. Appreciated the popcorn in the lobby. Some grassy areas to walk the dog. The hotel was inexpensive (about $100, including pet fee of $30) but not clean. We spent the night but did not want to shower here or even get the coffee. Conveniently located near several coffee spots & we hit one before getting back in the road.
Great location, mostly dirt run area
Pretzel Park Dog ParkThis dog run has plenty of space to chase balls & sticks. Fresh water & some bowls. Bring your own toys (or donate some to park).
Mostly a fenced off dirt run, no separation for different sized dogs, with some wood chip cover. Next to a playground & grassy field for picnics. close to Manayunk sidewalk cafes. Fun stop before dinner!
Big grassy running area, some just dirt
Happy Tails Dog Parknice that there are separate areas for big & little dogs, both fenced. Lots of chairs set up in shady & sunny areas. We saw trash cans & a water bowl but no source of water. Happily, we brought our own water. Friendly dogs & owners.
Dog-friendly patio, good burger
Tailgatez Sports GrillVery friendly waitress made us feel welcome even though it was close to the patio closing time. Good burgers & onion rings.
Great fenced running spot
Riverside Dogzvilleour dog loved this spot to chase balls, play with other dogs, and run really fast. nice river view, shady benches. even greater if it had water for dogs.
Good walking path
Flight 93 National Memorialwe knew we could not bring our dog to the memorial sections because of the seriousness of the event commemorated. We were happy to walk along the path and see the site of the crash from a distance. good clean bathrooms for humans, no water fountain for humans was working the day we visited and none for dogs. Well-maintained pedestrian and hiking paths that allow leashed dogs
Great dog park!
Jager & Friends Dog Parkwe stopped here on TWICE on a road trip because it was such fun. Water, toys, good fencing, nice benches. We even contributed to help maintain this wonderful dog park.
Very dog-friendly, nice view, good food
Table9Driving across country, we were thrilled to locate Table9 via Bring Fido. it’s a very dog-friendly restaurant in Morgantown West VA.
They welcomed the dog & immediately brought a bowl of water. Seating for dogs is outside on a terrace overlooking the river, so a great choice for good weather. waiter service at the table for good food with fresh ingredients. And it’s right next to a river walking path, kids playground, and grassy area that even has a poop bag dispenser.
parking on the street nearby was convenient. We did go at an off-time, 5 pm, so that made life easier.
Indoor fun for rainy or cold day
Pet Friendly Dog BakeryPerfect place to visit on a cold or rainy day when your dog needs some exercise and fun playing off-leash with a few other dogs. owners are friendly & welcoming.
Upstairs is an excellent dog bakery with a few toys for sale.
Downstairs is an indoor play area with dog toys, plenty of space for dogs to play off-leash, even equipment to clean up accidents.
There is also an outdoor play area. We didn’t visit because it was outing rain while we were there. We will be back!
