Nice surprise
Mt. Rushmore Brewing Company & Pounding Fathers RestaurantVery dog friendly, large bowl of fresh water was given to my Siberian. Food was good, brew was good. T-shirts to buy are a good price and amusing. I would spot with or without my Sib. I had the Bison Buger, it was thin but had a good taste. Duck sliders were tastey too.

Road trip from FL to CO, MT and home
Best Western Golden Spike Inn & SuitesThe front desk team was very friendly and interactive. I was given a room on the first floor close to the dog area. They had a well kept grassy section for you pet, it was green and no yellow spots, etc. The room was large and clean with amenities. Restaurants close early (8pm). However, there is a pizza/Italian restaurant that has a deck patio that allows your dog. Hotel did charge a bit more for the dog but it was worth it. Clean room, nice staff, good grassy area for dog.

Days Inn by Wyndham EllisHotel is charging 10.00 pet fee plus tax=$11.40. I was traveling with my SIberian. We were on the 2nd floor. First room had alive and dead crickets on the carpet. I immediately returned to the front desk and the woman charged my room. The next room was clean. The town of Eliis has very interesting history that I would never have known about if I didn't stop. There is a Mexican restaurant across the street that has an outside area that you can bring your dog.

No dog fee
Red Roof Inn ClarksvilleI was traveling with my Siberian from FL to CO, MT and home. As you may know traveling with a dog has become expensive for my normal hotel brands have raised their fees. Partly due to dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs. I was hopeful when I entered the lobby for it was new and clean and the front desk staff was nice. The property was not will kept; there were cigarette butts everywhere. The property has exterior entry, if I was traveling without my BF and Siberian, I would not have stayed as a female. Pros: room was clean, no dog fee. I would stay again if no other property was available. They do have an area in the front with grass, not well kept but it does the job. Please clean up after your dog.
