Room was clean and quiet, Fido felt at ease here. Staff was so friendly. Quick walk to downtown where we ate at a pet-friendly restaurant. Overall a great experience.

So much of the area has trails and park areas for walks with your dog. Exceptions are Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial. Hill City and this hotel are a great location near dog-friendly restaurants. The room was spacious enough to keep our dog relaxed and not feeling pent up.

The front desk team was very friendly and interactive. I was given a room on the first floor close to the dog area. They had a well kept grassy section for you pet, it was green and no yellow spots, etc. The room was large and clean with amenities. Restaurants close early (8pm). However, there is a pizza/Italian restaurant that has a deck patio that allows your dog. Hotel did charge a bit more for the dog but it was worth it. Clean room, nice staff, good grassy area for dog.

Place was pretty gross. Shower had black mold in the grout. Floor didn’t look to have been thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast was pretty bland. Towels smelled like mildew. Overall the only positive is the distance to Mount Rushmore.

Great location, nice area for our dog, but worst bed ever for us.

Convenient location (nice open area including a park with a stream, a short walk behind the hotel), nice clean & quiet room, friendly staff. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever experienced at a hotel.
