Clean and friendly
Homewood Suites by Hilton Macon NorthPlace is in a nice location, clean, and staff is friendly.

Not good
Best Western Golden Spike Inn & SuitesPlace was pretty gross. Shower had black mold in the grout. Floor didn’t look to have been thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast was pretty bland. Towels smelled like mildew. Overall the only positive is the distance to Mount Rushmore.

Nice place
The Highlander HotelVery fun music vibe and the hotel overall is clean. Was surprised that there were no in-room refrigerators.

Nice place but…
Best Western Gateway GrandRoom had some issues. Bathroom door wouldn’t close. Shower water was tepid at max temp and the water flow was a trickle. Hotel is nice otherwise but they have some work to do to get back to 5 bones.

Nice place to stay
Drury Inn & Suites Atlanta MariettaRooms were clean and the location was right off the freeway. During a weekday there isn’t a ton of area to take a larger dog for a run without it being on a well traveled road. On a weekend there’s an office park around the corner where you can run with almost no traffic. All in all a nice stay.
