So Disappointing

Arlington Resort Hotel & Spa

Save your money and stay in a Super 8 or, better yet, just sleep in your car. This place charges for the “historic” aspect of the hotel. The hotel is terribly run down. I was told that some rooms are renovated. That is definitely not the case for dog-friendly rooms, which are located on one floor. We changed our stay from two nights to one night. We would’ve left the first night had we had an option to stay elsewhere.

Excellent

Moonrise Hotel

This place truly loves dogs. My dog, Fred, was welcome and treated like royalty. The hotel was also very nice. Sometimes dog-friendly rooms are treated like the runt of the litter, but not at this hotel. Being a “dog boutique” hotel, they pride themselves on ensuring their credibility:
