Trig was happy
Holiday Inn Portland Columbia Riverfront an IHG HotelThis place is huge and quite impressive. The desk clerk gave us a room on the bottom floor, with a slider to the grassy area around the pool so Trig could step out the back and do is morning pee. We walked around the whole property three or four times, which is saying a lot! It really is big! The staff was kind and sweet to Trig, smiling and complimenting his manners and his looks. My only comment would be to try to replace the poop bags outside at the trash and poop bag station. We had our own, but it is there, I assume, for dog owners. Anyway, thanks for the great stay!

Nice location
Maple Tree InnTrig had a nice couple of days at the Maple Tree inn. His only concern is not being able to open the door for me when he really wants to get out to pee! Also, he notes there really is no grass at all on the grounds, so he had to poop in wood chips, which is fine with him, but it was obvious that there is no special doggie relief location on the grounds. There is a smoking location, however! He found that interesting, and avoided it. He really didn't want to poop on the nice manicured strip in front of the property, unless he had to. Alas, he had to.
