Private Pond, BBQ Next Door
Baymont by Wyndham RollaThis little gem was a delightful place in which I spent one night with my dog and cat while driving cross-country. Gorgeous little pond right out back, 1/2 mile paved loop around is perfect place to walk the dog and unwind. Saw a blue heron and a goose in the water! Great barbeque next door and a Krogers 6 minutes away if you need supplies. Hotel was under construction, room in pretty good shape and clean, considering. Should be much nicer next time we stay, which we definitely will!

Friendly and Comfortable
Comfort Inn & SuitesConvenient location between I-40 and Historic Route 66. Well-stocked Smith's grocery store with adjacent gas station less than 5 minutes away. (Rotisserie chicken highly recommended!) Hotel features cozy lobby with fireplace. beautiful room with plush beds, nice kitchen/microwave area, deep bathtub. Extra clean and comfy all around. Safe walking areas outside for pup. Highway was audible/visible from room, but felt non-intrusive. Hot breakfast made to order. Bonus that really made it for me: front desk staff was the best! Friendly and warm. This was my favorite hotel of five on a solo X-country road trip with dog and cat!
