The room was nice and roomy with a comfortable bed and a big walk-in shower. The only downside was the outdoor dog area! It was very small, with a cinder base that was not neat and tidy. There was a small fenced area with unkempt appearance that was a disappointment for a dog friendly hotel.

Small dog area was really dirty, tons of trash and absolutely no grass in sight. Just mud and gravel. Bed was hard as a rock.

Many issues no fixes or acknowledgment. Had to be reassigned rooms because the toilet didn’t work. The elevator didn’t work. The heat and phone did not work in our room. I called the front desk on my cell phone and was told none of the issues were “her fault” so no “sorry” would be heard. Manager was not on duty.

Very friendly staff late at night! Plenty of stone area for our pup to do her business! Rooms were clean and the bed was super comfy. Booked a return stay based on the great setting. There is no grass yet plenty of stones!!!!

Convenient location between I-40 and Historic Route 66. Well-stocked Smith's grocery store with adjacent gas station less than 5 minutes away. (Rotisserie chicken highly recommended!) Hotel features cozy lobby with fireplace. beautiful room with plush beds, nice kitchen/microwave area, deep bathtub. Extra clean and comfy all around. Safe walking areas outside for pup. Highway was audible/visible from room, but felt non-intrusive. Hot breakfast made to order. Bonus that really made it for me: front desk staff was the best! Friendly and warm. This was my favorite hotel of five on a solo X-country road trip with dog and cat!

Great location with amenities around the hotel. Not much in the way of green space in the area around the hotel for the dog but lots of xeriscaping.

Nice and clean with friendly staff. We stayed at the start of or journey and on our return trip. It would be perfect if they had a bit of grass somewhere.

Overall the hotel itself was ok. Nothing special. I was very disappointed when the shower faucet handled just spun around in circles and didn’t work at all. And the “hot” breakfast was just a few scrambled egg crumbs and one sausage link. I would definitely not stay there again.

Great location and price for traveling I-40. There is a pet fee, but it’s reasonable. 4 bones because people were up and talking outside of our door at all hours.

the water smells so horrible that it leaves a smell on you AFTER you shower..they advise you not to drink it and have filtered water avail on all floors for drinking...

There is not much lodging in Edgewood so it’s great that pets are allowed at this new property. There is a grassy area close to the hotel for dog use. The manager is very friendly. My dog was having an issue with pain, and she directed me to a couple of good vet clinics nearby. I was really appreciative.
