Good for dogs, so-so for food and drinks.
Fort George BreweryThis is a great place to take your pooch when you want a meal. They have a lower and upper outside patio perfect for having a meal with your dog. You will find plenty of other folks there with their dogs and the place offers water dishes. The food is average, there’s a nice selection of beers, and a very limited selection of wines. The burgers are tasty, but the fish in the fish and chips is very dry. The cost of food and drinks is on the high side.

Excellent for dog lovers
Best Western Columbia River Waterfront Hotel AstoriaThis is a very nice hotel next to a walking path along the Columbia River. The location is not in the heart of town, but close enough for a quick drive. The hotel staff is very nice and they provide a treat bag with poop bags. We met many other folks with their dogs at the hotel, so it seems to be a popular place. The pet fee was very reasonable and I highly recommend the hotel.

Superb Location
Elizabeth Oceanfront Suites Ascend Hotel CollectionThe Elizabeth Inn is a fabulous place to stay with your pooch. The staff really fuss over the dogs and will provide bowls and poop bags, if needed. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well maintained, and have spectacular ocean views. Access to the beach is easy and the Nye Beach area has good food choices that accommodate your dog.
