- RogerMay 20, 2023Good for dogs, so-so for food and drinks.
This is a great place to take your pooch when you want a meal. They have a lower and upper outside patio perfect for having a meal with your dog. You will find plenty of other folks there with their dogs and the place offers water dishes. The food is average, there’s a nice selection of beers, and a very limited selection of wines. The burgers are tasty, but the fish in the fish and chips is very dry. The cost of food and drinks is on the high side.

This place is a fun stop with great food. Dogs allowed on the patio but beware no shade
- DanielleOct 8, 2022Lots of friendly pups and outdoor seating
Great place but expect lots of dogs and families with kids running around. Always make sure your dog is on a leash and well behaved. We really loved the food and beer here too!!!
- JenOct 26, 2021Good Outdoor Area
There was a small covered area on their 1st-floor patio. The tables and chairs were very high though and we felt too far away from our pup. We went back when it wasn’t raining and found the perfect size picnic bench. The second-floor patio wasn’t covered.

they have something for everyone. great pizza and brews! our little guy loved his coconut lemonade. large outdoor patio and a big cracking fire.

Not what they used to be. Used to be our go-to spot in Astoria, with the new area and segregated menus it is now the last place we go with our dogs.

Lovely views on their roof patio. Salads are clever and fresh. Pizza is to die for. The circular staircase and little pedestrian bridge may be a bit scary for some dogs but there is a garden trail access, just ask for directions. Our waitress was great and super attentive!
- KristofferAug 11, 2018Nice views, small outdoor area
The dogs are allowed on the outside patio area on the second floor, to get there they have to walk over a grated area, which mine freaked out about. They do have water bowls up there for the dogs. Long tables for shared dining experience unless you have a larger party. I didn't care that they had a different menu upstairs than downstairs. If your the same restaurant, well the same food.

This place used to accept dogs on their patio. Now there’s a special tie up station to put your dog and you might be lucky to get a seat near them. It’s not ok for dogs who have some separation anxiety.
- SuzeMore than a year agoGreat for Summer
We tried out Fort George Brewery on our way home from a day at the beach. Fort George has a large outdoor deck with picnic tables and a doggie water bowl. The deck would be great on a mild, sunny afternoon but it is uncovered, does not have night lighting, and it does not have patio heaters so it was not as fine for a January evening. We finished eating our meal by the light of the adjacent streetlight. The beer and pub food were excellent, so Fort George still is a good choice, but plan your visit to the outdoor deck accordingly.
